Youth and Family Services

NCDHH offers support and advocacy in the area of youth and family. Facilitating and coordinating a robust youth engagement strategy and working closely with Nebraska's programs and services, as well as assist in the overall coordination of services and opportunities to develop collaboration and partnership to ensure adherence to the agency’s mission and values.

NCDHH's Education, Youth and Family Liaison will work to collectively serve young individuals who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing and their families in any area they need support in.

2026 Deaf/Hard of Hearing Summer Camp Opportunities

Looking for summer camp opportunities for Deaf, DeafBlind, and Hard of Hearing youth?

NCDHH has compiled a list of summer camps in Nebraska, throughout the Midwest, and across the country that may offer accessible programming, Deaf and Hard of Hearing community connection, or supportive environments for D/HH campers and families.

Families are encouraged to contact each camp directly to confirm current dates, costs, eligibility, communication access, and available accommodations.

NCDHH Family Resource Guide

Raising a Deaf, DeafBlind, or Hard of Hearing child can come with many questions — and you don’t have to navigate them alone. The NCDHH Family Resource Guide connects families with trusted programs, educational services, healthcare providers, and advocacy supports across Nebraska.
