NCDHH and NAMI Nebraska are partnering to bring NAMI Smarts for Advocacy to the Deaf, DeafBlind and Hard of Hearing community.

Part 2, Putting Your Story Into Action, builds on personal storytelling by exploring how policy is made and how advocates can connect with policymakers. The session includes Policy Making 101 and Contacting and Meeting with Policymakers.

This is the second session of a two-part training. Participants are encouraged to attend both sessions.

CDI and ASL interpreters will be provided.
