The last sunday in April is designated Mother Father Deaf Day. This is a day CODAs (Child of Deaf Adult) around the world acknowledge and celebrate their deaf parents. Many local groups and deaf parent groups with young KODS (Kids of Deaf Adult) will plan picnics and other events.
