This is a 3-hour webinar that is open to both Deaf and Hearing interpreters and will cover the teaming process.
Various teaming strategies and approaches will be introduced and discussed. Techniques like signposting, backchanneling, Target/Source language feed variations will be taught.
This training is developed specifically to provide clear examples of effective teaming techniques through videos and discussion.
Target audience: Deaf and hearing interpreters and students

Educational Objectives:
At the conclusion of the training, participants will be able to:
• Identify various techniques used in teaming
• Identify teaming strategies and approaches
• Identify effective teaming techniques
ASL Communication is an approved RID Sponsor for Continuing Education Activities. This Professional Studies (PS) program is offered for 0.3 RID CEUs at some content knowledge level or 3 clock hours toward Nebraska licensing requirements.
NO partial CEUs or clock hours will be awarded.
