Event Description
The Lincoln Hearing Loss Support Group welcomes individuals with hearing loss and their families to connect, share experiences, and learn together. Participants can explore new hearing loss resources, get recommendations and referrals, learn about assistive technology, trade stories and advice, and build confidence in advocating for their needs.

You do not need to have hearing loss—or wear hearing aids, cochlear implants, or other devices—to attend. Family members, friends, and supporters are welcome. No sales pitches.

Meetings are held the third Saturday of each month from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at the Unitarian Church of Lincoln, 6300 A Street, Lincoln, Nebraska 68510. The location is hearing loop and wheelchair accessible. The flyer encourages people to email or join the Facebook group for updates and includes the email address hlaalincolnne@gmail.com . A QR code is shown for joining the Facebook group. A list of benefits includes discovering new hearing loss resources, trading stories and advice, making new friends, learning about new technology, getting recommendations and referrals, helping friends and family understand hearing loss, and becoming an advocate. The HLAA logo appears at the bottom.
