Join Vancro for a two-part Support Service Provider (SSP) training in Omaha! SSPs are specially trained guides who work with DeafBlind individuals to relay visual and environmental information in the personβs preferred language and communication mode. This role offers meaningful work, flexible hours, and a chance to connect with the DeafBlind community.
IMPORTANT: This training program is for work in the Omaha Metropolitan area. To attend the in-person training on August 22, you must first attend the virtual training on Monday, August 18 from 6:00β8:30 PM, or watch the recording and complete a follow-up quiz. Please view the registration link for more information.
Whether you communicate using spoken English, ASL, or both, your skills are needed. If youβre interested in learning about and working with the DeafBlind community, we encourage you to apply.
