Description:
This ASL-interpreted performance of The Heart Sellers by Lloyd Suh is directed by Wai Yim. Running February 5 – March 1, 2026, the play is a poignant and gently humorous story exploring identity, belonging, and friendship through the immigrant experience. Set in 1970s America, it follows Luna and Jane, two Asian immigrant women who meet on Thanksgiving. Over the course of one evening, their growing bond becomes both a lifeline and a revelation. The Heart Sellers shines a light on the often-overlooked stories of immigrant women, offering a heartfelt exploration of connection, hope, and what it means to belong in a new world.
