Location:
BLUEBARN Theatre
1106 S 10th St, Omaha, NE 68108
Description:
This ASL-interpreted performance of What the Constitution Means to Me by Heidi Schreck is a powerful and witty play about belonging and identity. Featuring Katie Becker Colón and directed by Susan Clement, the production explores how the U.S. Constitution has shaped—and sometimes failed—four generations of women in Schreck’s family. Through humor and personal stories, the play reveals how women, immigrants, and marginalized groups are often left out, challenging audiences to reconsider who truly belongs in America and inviting everyone to help rewrite the rules so all have a place at the table.
