Event Description

Accessing the Good Life: A Communication Leadership Summit brings community members, advocates, service providers, and leaders together at the Nebraska State Capitol for a day focused on communication access and lived experience.

The morning session features a Community Resource Fair, where attendees can connect with more than 10 organizations offering resources, services, and tools that support communication access across Nebraska.

In the afternoon, attendees are invited to stay for a panel discussion led by Deaf, DeafBlind, and Hard of Hearing advocates and community leaders. Panelists will share personal experiences and explore real-world communication access issues affecting participation in public life, services, and civic spaces.

This event offers an opportunity to learn, connect, and engage in meaningful conversation at the legislative heart of our state.
